FTS Technology Group was originally started as Farm Technology Services LLC. Farm Technology Services was an idea Ryan Hoffmann founded during an everyday dinner table conversation. Having somewhat of a round table discussion in a farmhouse kitchen and eating dinner with his Uncle Rod, who has been a dairy farmer his whole life, the two were discussing the modern day farm. Throughout the back and forth discussion, it became apparent that there was an imminent need for a technology support company that specialized in the farming industry and its related businesses. By the time the conversation ended, the idea had formed into a reality and Farm Technology Services was born.
Hoffmann originally started working with computer networks in 1999 and throughout those seventeen years, he has worked with technologies such as wireless networks, telephone systems (including Voice over IP), security and camera systems, accounting systems, email and web servers, server based applications, server virtualization, process control, business continuity planning and much more….
